Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right, even if the whole world is telling you to move. It is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye and say, ‘No. You move.’”

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about this incredible movie?

Nothing. (That’s the correct answer to our skill-testing question).

Thanks to a kindly fellow, I got to see Captain America: Civil War on Mother’s Day during a pre-noon showing. And in my expert film cricket opinion, it was freaking awesome.

My inner 11-year-old squealed with childish joy at the *punchy, blasty, pew-pew, rahr, crush, kaboom* face off of Iron Man and Captain America. If you haven’t seen it yet, holy enhanced humans, what’s wrong with you?

But it is to the patron saint of flinty, tough ladies and nearly lost causes …Peggy Carter… that today I pray.

I don’t believe in a whole lot in this life. I do believe in Peggy’s words.

“Compromise where you can. And where you can’t… don’t.”

Amen, Ms. Carter.
